GTZ/Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development

SEOFS has been collaborating with the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ), which operates in conjunction with the Government of Uganda, acting through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEoMD). The partnership between GTZ and MEoMD implemented the Energy Advisory Project from 1999 – 2008, which, after its phase out was succeeded by the Promotion of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Program.

GTZ has supported SEOFS, which has been enabled it to extend its activities in the rural community to cover 9 Subcounties of Wakiso district, generating a total of over 60,000 stoves. The support of GTZ has been by offering training in the technology design and a subsidy to facilitate the dissemination of the stoves.

Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)
FAO has supported SEOFS to conduct training and monitoring of stove dissemination activities in the Northern part of Uganda. So far, the districts covered are Kitgum and Pader. The target beneficiaries are the Farmer Field Schools

Christian Children Fund
The Christian Children Fund made an agreement with the SEOFS to train the Youth affected by HIV/AIDS in the entrepreneurial skills of construction and marketing of Mud Rocket Stoves in Kiboga district.
